Check VAT (Umsatzsteuer) with the reconciliation report
Make sure your VAT (Umsatzsteuer) accounts agree with your VAT return (UStVA).
Go to Reports → VAT (Umsatzsteuer) reconciliation. It compares the VAT (Umsatzsteuer) collected and paid accounts in your ledger with the VAT (Umsatzsteuer) on your coded lines for the period. A difference usually means a manual journal posted to a VAT (Umsatzsteuer) account, or a line with a missing code.
