Business and accounting settings
Your business details, financial year, BTW basis, invoice numbering and approval limits.
Go to Settings → Business & accounting.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Legal and trading name | Shown on invoices, quotes and reports. |
| BTW-id | Printed on invoices and used for BTW return drafts. |
| Financial year end | Sets the start of each year for reports and "Current year earnings". |
| BTW accounting basis | Accrual or Cash. See Cash or accrual. |
| Default sales and purchase BTW codes | Pre-filled on new lines. You can change them per line. |
| Invoice prefix | For example INV- gives INV-1001. |
| Approval limits | Invoices and bills above these amounts need approval. See How approvals work. |
| Lock transactions before | Nothing can be posted on or before this date (your lock date). See Lock a period. |
Select Save financial settings when you're done.
