Match bank transactions
Plain suggests what each bank line is. Accept it, or choose another.
Go to Banking. Each new bank line shows Plain's best suggestion, how confident it is, and why.
- Accept match if the suggestion is right. Plain records the payment on the invoice or bill and reconciles the line.
- Choose another to pick a different invoice or bill.
Plain suggests matches from open invoices and approved bills with the same amount, and checks the reference, date and direction of the money.
Lines that aren't an invoice or bill (bank fees, interest, owner drawings) can't be coded straight to an account yet. See Code a bank line to an account.
